Kelly Bonewitz

Expert Bio

I have been a part of Woodside travel for 5 years and have planned trips around the world for individuals, couples, families and friends.
As an native Australian I love fun, active holidays that leave lasting memories. And as a mum, with two boys of my own, I understand the amount of work it takes to keep kids happy and captivated on a holiday as well a looking after the parents need for relaxation and time alone.
I enjoy planning the whole trip from beginning to end and thinking of creative things the whole family can enjoy. Recently I coordinated a Scavenger Hunt at The Louvre, Paris for a family who wanted to introduce their kids to Art. The family met their guide at The Louvre. The kids uncovered the clues hidden in paintings throughout the museum, which led them to a prize hidden in the Pyramid at the end of the hunt. What 5 and 9 year old begs their parents to return to the Lourve in Paris for the art?
In additional to planning fab trips, I try to look after clients while they are traveling. One or my clients arrived by train at the French / Italian border only to find that Italian trains decided to strike that day. Luckily…. I had a driver, waiting on the platform, who transported the whole family to their hotel with a scenic 2 hour mountain drive. Their trip continued as planned and they were really happy despite the unexpected Italian surprise.
With every trip, no matter the budget, I endeavor to provide a balance and combination of experiences so my clients enjoy the right mix of luxury and pampering coupled with an authentic experience full of culture, adventure and fun.
How many people can say they love their job and look forward to going to work every day. I can!!!
